Walter P. Brockway

Reverend Brockway was born in 1903 in Yonkers, NY.  A graduate of the Harvard Divinity School, he was ordained in 1931.  He served several New Hampshire churches before coming to Hollis in 1941.  He remained here as Pastor and Teacher until 1946, when he was commissioned by the NH Conference as the organization's second Life Minister.  Reverend Brockway was cited for his service to New Hampshire churches in 1961.  he died in May, 1991, on the day following his citation for sixty years of ministry.
