Deacons’ Fund Charitea Concert Fundraiser

Join us for a relaxing afternoon of tea, cookies, and live music at the Congregational Church of Hollis in Monument Square, Hollis, NH on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 4:00pm. Local violinists Sharon Funk and Shannon Laine will play delightful tunes while you sip your tea (or coffee) and enjoy some yummy goodies. Sharon Funk is a Suzuki trained violin teacher and teaches violin, viola, and fiddle lessons out of her home studio in Brookline, NH. Shannon Laine lives in Hollis and is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and teaches Adaptive Music Lessons at the Groton Hill Music Center.

Not only will you be treated to an incredible musical journey while you enjoy delectable desserts, this event also raises money to give back to the community. Show your support through a donation of any amount for your ticket(s) to this fantastic and fun afternoon, bring your friends! 100% of the ticket sales goes to the Deacons’ Fund which helps those in need in the community. Donations can be made online or by cash or check at the door on the day of the event.

The Deacons’ Fund of the Congregational Church of Hollis is used primarily to purchase food and grocery gift cards put in the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter holiday food boxes distributed to local families in need. In addition, it is used to provide some financial assistance to local families experiencing an emergency or crisis. Please note that the church Deacons’ Fund is funded and maintained completely separate from the church budget. Funds come from individual donations, fund raisers, and proceeds from church-sponsored events. Thank you for supporting this vital community outreach program!
