There are many ways to give:

In addition to financial giving, there are the gifts of time and talent, stock transfers, planned giving, and in-kind giving.

We appreciate ALL forms of gifts!

Financial Giving

Annual Pledges

The stewardship pledge drive is held in the fall.  Pledging itself is not a financial transaction, but a means to communicate to the Stewardship board what you anticipate your financial support for the church will be over the course of the upcoming year. You can click HERE  to pledge online or you can submit a pledge card which can be obtained by visiting the church’s main office.  Pledging helps the church plan its budget for the fiscal year starting in January.  Once you have submitted your pledge, members are encouraged to set up online giving (click “Give Online” line above).

Give Via Online Bill Pay Through Your Bank

If you have a login with your bank so you can see your checking account activity online, you most likely also have the ability to pay bills on line and even set up AutoPay (regular payments) to any person, company, or organization you set up. For pledge giving, setting up AutoPay through your bank is the preferred and most reliable way to ensure pledge payments are paid regularly with no fees incurred by you OR by the church.

Give Via Church Online Giving

Donations and pledge payments can be made electronically via our website using your bank account or credit card.  This is another great way to ensure your pledge giving is paid regularly, however there are some fees incurred by the church (NOT you) for the convenience of this service. The church incurs LESS fees for online giving using your bank account than for online giving using your credit card. Fees are modest but obviously NO fees (Online Bill Pay) is preferred. Click the “Give Online” button above to initiate Online Giving or click HERE for online giving instructions and HERE for online giving frequently asked questions.

Give Via Phone App

Donations and pledge payments can be made electronically via the GivePlus+ phone app using your bank account or credit card.  The church incurs the same fees for the convenience of this service as it does for Online Giving (discussed above). Click HERE to read the GivePlus+ phone app “How it Works” and click HERE to read the FAQs for the GivePlus+ phone app.

Offering Plates

You can put cash or a check in the weekly offering plates passed around during Sunday services.  Please make checks payable to “Congregational Church of Hollis” and note in the memo of the check how you prefer your donation to be applied (eg. pledge offering, capital campaign, deacons fund, etc.). If you want your cash donation to be recorded under your name by the church (for tax purposes), please be sure it is in your offering envelope so the church knows who provided the donation.

Mail Check

You can send a check to the church main office.  Please make checks payable to “Congregational Church of Hollis” and send your donation to 3 Monument Square, Hollis, NH 03049.  Please note in the memo of the check how you prefer your donation to be applied (eg. pledge offering, capital campaign, deacons fund, etc.)

Time and Talent Giving

It is the time, talent, dedication and devotion of the volunteer members of the Congregational Church of Hollis in serving as church officers or on boards, committees and ministry teams that keeps the church running and make the countless educational, service and fellowship opportunities possible. Click HERE for a list of such roles.

In addition, one of the core tenets of CCoH is our Service to others. Our commitment to service provides opportunity for members to volunteer their time and talent in a variety of ways, all of which are extremely important and vital in meeting our commitment. Finally, we also love to have fun and enjoy the fellowship of church members AND provide opportunities for the entire community to gather and enjoy themselves, none-of-which would be possible without the time and talent of many volunteers. Click  HERE to see the many ways we serve others and the many events we hold to enjoy fellowship together and with the community-at-large.

Stock Transfers Giving

If you wish to make a donation through transfer of stock, please contact the church office at 603-465-7797 or churchoffice@hollischurch.org.

Planned Giving

Another way of financial giving is as a a gift or bequest to the CCoH Trust. Your gift would help ensure the continued presence of CCoH regardless of what the future brings. The UCC provides guidance on planned giving opportunities.

In-Kind Giving

Do you or your company have tangible goods the church could use?  Please consider donating such goods to the church as an “in-kind” donation. Or perhaps your company or the company you work for has a service they would be willing to provide (one-time or ongoing)?  In-kind services are professional services donated by groups such as corporations, small businesses, vendors, colleges, individual professionals or tradespeople which then reduces the expenses of the church for such services. If you wish to make an in-kind donation of goods or services, please contact the church office at 603-465-7797 or churchoffice@hollischurch.org.
